Why is it that some people think that they are somehow above the earth, or even the physical universe, as if they aren’t really part of it?
And why do some others think that they are only a part of what they see around them, and nothing more?
Is it natural for humans to feel we are in some way superior to the rest of nature? Many religions seem to be rooted in this kind of idea. It seems kind-of anti-intellectual to me.
